Not far to drive but quite an escape

This region is one of contrasts as we discovered staying at Mango Hill Cottages. White sandy beach a comfortable 40 drive away (Woodgate … Shhhh! Locals want to keep it under wraps) Historic township of Childers so neat, tidy and full of well preserved history. Busy regional town of Bundaberg well worth spending a day or two and the drive over and back opens up some interesting landscape. Can definitely recommend, and one night is not enough!
