We have been holidaying in Australia for 6 weeks and this would have to be the nicest place we have stayed. Pity we are running out of days before we fly out. Bak and Carol UK January 2019
When you call into the Cellar Door this week, don’t forget to take some fresh rosemary from the Winery Herb patch. It’s such an aromatic, versatile herb. goes remarkably with beef or lamb and just the ticket for that tray of mixed roast veggies. the Little Cellar Rat is chuffed with how her herb patch is coming along.
This is a delightful place to relax, soak up the colourful local stories and sample family- inspired wines. Definitely can recommend. V and AM DENMARK January 2019
I’ve stayed before while on business in the area and come back because I really like the ambience and touches such as fresh fruit in season. This time it was the mangoes! After a long day focused on facts and figures it is just the place to chill out on the front verandah and take in the night sky. Total relaxation! AB Brisbane. January 2019
Terranzo the winemaker and Maria the Little Cellar Rat wish you all BUON NATALE! May you enjoy spending time with loved ones, family and friends. May your table be graced by the stranger and peppered with interesting and lively conversation.
We’ve made CAVALLUCCI di SIENA (‘little horses’) delicious spiced and fruited rustic biscuits, a Christmas treat with a glass of vin santo. They take us straight back to Northern Italy!

Mary was only too willing to share that Breakfast prunes recipe! Can definitely recommend this little country gem. Lee and Kay Mary Valley December 2018
We’ve just spent a few days in this dear little cottage. It’s well -equipped with whatever you need for a short break and if it’s not there, you only have to ask! the ambience from the front verandah is calming and relaxing. Not our first stay and definitely not our last. Thanks again, Mary and Terry from two very satisfied guests. ES Fraser Coast April 2018
A quick stopover to break a long journey was not long enough to enjoy all on offer at Mango Hill B&B. A delicious breakfast eaten on the verandah in the sun – definitely a highlight.
Beautiful garden setting and helpful hosts at hand made this the perfect home away from home. Jayne L N Qld. June 2018
Very nicely decorated cottages in Childers. Beautiful view.
The owners were very helpful with wine tasting and info on the winery.
Stay more that one night so you will have time for a wine tasting!
Childers is a lovely collage of old buildings.

Summer and salads are just made for each other and the magic in lifting your Greek or Garden Salad lies in the dressing.
Flicking through the first publication by Maria Anello – NEW FARM DELI – gave me the inspiration for this one: EV olive oil, apple cider vinegar, mustard, lemon thyme. It’s just darn delicious.
